I am reposting this info here in case you missed the email. This training is highly recommended for those of us in the social work field, but it applies to everyone. Also, it will count as professional development if you are taking SW Practice 1 or 3. I signed up for the January training so let me know if you're going too. If the date doesn't work for you, there are others scheduled.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Training Attend a QPR training and become a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper! The next suicide prevention training will be held on Wednesday, January 21, from 4:00 to 5:30 at the Student Health Center in 2301. Please sign up at the link:

Hey there Pam, thanks for posting this information here on the forum... you can count me amongst those who managed to somehow overlook or subconsciously avoid previous e-mail suggesting we sign-up to do more things than we already do. I keep hearing how important the QPR training info is, so I wanted to make it a priority this semester. Plus I need professional development hours for SW 405 so it'll count for that.
